Responsible for pre-feasibility level infrastructure studies and provision of technical electrical engineering support. Manage and execute portfolio of engineering studies to ensure that safety, cost, design, and performance requirements are achieved. Develop design criteria, identify potential bidders, administer bidding processes, and select vendors for pre-feasibility studies. Provide electrical engineering support for Pre-Feasibility team or other groups within Resolution Copper that may need technical expertise. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical statutory and legislative requirements by drawing on own knowledge of regulations, codes, and standards applicable to a fixed / classified electrical plant. Ensure compliance with change management system to ensure that risks associated with execution of capital projects are identified and addressed as necessary. Develop and maintain effective networks and collaborative relationships within the Rio Tinto group to achieve best practices. Develop and administer maintenance plans for proposed mining and processing operations, in order to increase reliability and reduce long-term cost for future operations.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in an electrical engineering-related occupation.
Experience must include:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining industry, including experience in design of facilities and management of consultants;
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in mine hoisting systems, controls, user interface, and drive systems;
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering and implementation of industrial networking and cross-platform communications, including process control networks;
4. High voltage power systems and transmission;
5. Understanding and application of mining and processing requirements;
6. Load flow modeling programs, such as ETAP;
7. Knowledge of mining regulations and experience in direct dealings with regulatory agencies, including MSHA;
8. Underground and shaft power distribution systems.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
